You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use CrewAhead. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to use the platform in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for making sure that your use of CrewAhead complies with any laws, regulations, or employment agreements that apply to you, including maritime labour, immigration, and licensing requirements.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Please choose a strong password and do not share your account with anyone else.

You should keep your profile information, contact details, and professional information up to date. If you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us at crewsahead@gmail.com as soon as possible.

CrewAhead may suspend or restrict access to accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct.

4. Professional Information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the professional information you add to your profile. This includes your rank or shore position, qualifications, certifications, sea service, employment history, skills, availability, and any documents you upload.

CrewAhead may review, request clarification about, or remove information that appears to be inaccurate, misleading, incomplete, or contrary to these Terms. A review or removal does not mean CrewAhead has verified every other item on the platform.

5. Employer Responsibilities

Employers and their representatives using CrewAhead agree to:

• provide accurate company and contact information;
• hold any licences, approvals, or RPSL registration required for their recruitment activity;
• publish only genuine vacancies with accurate material terms;
• use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment and employment purposes;
• respect candidate privacy and communication preferences;
• never charge seafarers a fee for placement, recruitment, or the promise of a job.

CrewAhead may review employer accounts, job postings, and company information before or after they appear on the platform. Approval or verification at one point in time does not guarantee ongoing compliance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use CrewAhead in a professional and lawful manner. You must not:

• impersonate another person, employer, or CrewAhead representative;
• provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information or documents;
• harass, intimidate, discriminate against, or abuse other users;
• attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorisation;
• upload malware, viruses, or other harmful material;
• scrape, copy, or collect platform data without permission;
• infringe the intellectual property or other rights of CrewAhead or third parties;
• use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms the maritime community.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content and documents you upload to your profile. By uploading content, you grant CrewAhead a limited licence to use, display, and process that content for the purpose of operating the platform and showing it to employers you have made your profile visible to.

CrewAhead's branding, design, software, code, and platform technology remain the property of Magnate Maritime Private Limited. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our permission.

8. Availability of the Platform

CrewAhead aims to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or changes that affect availability from time to time.

9. Educational Content

Articles, guides, and other material available through the CrewAhead Knowledge Hub are provided for general educational purposes. They are not a substitute for professional, statutory, legal, medical, or flag-state advice, and you should always consult the relevant official sources or qualified professionals before acting on them.

10. Disclaimer

CrewAhead provides tools to help maritime professionals and employers connect, but it does not recruit, select, place, or employ seafarers. It does not guarantee employment, candidate suitability, visa approval, medical fitness, certificate acceptance, or the accuracy of any information provided by users or third parties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, CrewAhead and Magnate Maritime Private Limited are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform, including decisions made using user-generated information, advisory suggestions, educational content, or third-party resources.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under the law that applies to you.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, the law, or our practices. Continued use of the platform after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised version.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
