CrewAhead encourages members to keep profiles, certificates, sea-service records, job postings and employer information accurate and current. However, CrewAhead cannot independently verify every qualification, certificate, profile, employer listing or job description.

Before accepting employment, sharing sensitive documents or relying on any information, you should perform your own checks. This includes confirming the identity of an employer, the existence and condition of a vessel, the terms of a contract and any statutory, flag-state, immigration or medical requirements.

Employer and candidate verification

CrewAhead may display or process verification indicators for profiles, documents or companies. Where verification is shown, it confirms only the specific information reviewed at the time of verification.

Verification is not:

• ongoing monitoring of a profile or company;
• regulatory approval, licensing or endorsement;
• a guarantee of future conduct, financial stability or legal compliance;

Career recommendations and matching

CrewAhead may suggest career directions, matched opportunities or development areas based on the information recorded in a profile. These suggestions are advisory only and are generated from rules applied to the profile data provided.

They do not replace:

• statutory, flag-state or port-state requirements;
• company-specific policies or procedures;
• classification-society or professional-body guidance;
• independent professional judgement.

A low match score, missing suggestion or gap highlight does not mean a role is unavailable; it may simply mean that the recorded profile information does not fully match the criteria used by the platform. Always review the underlying requirements before making career decisions.
